I was helping a user integrate an existing Microsoft Form that they created into a SharePoint page. It seemed simple enough, just add the Microsoft Forms webpart into the SharePoint Page, and select “Existing Form”:
This opens the flyout pane, where you should just be able to add in the link to the form:
However, after pasting the shared link to the form, you get the following error:
After doing some digging, it appears that the sometimes the shared link will use forms.microsoft.com and other times it will use forms.office.com. Both of these are valid links and will link back to the form in a web browser. However, in order to get this to work using the SharePoint/Forms Web Part, you need to ensure that the URL is utilizing forms.office.com. If the sharing link is using forms.microsoft.com, you can simply replace “Microsoft” with “Office”.
